Main uses of pneumatic vacuum feeder

A vacuum feeder is a type of vacuum conveyor that utilizes a pneumatic vacuum pump as a vacuum source. Working principle of pneumatic vacuum feeder

When the "On/Off" button is pressed, compressed air enters the vacuum pump, and the discharge door of the hopper is closed by the cylinder, creating a vacuum in the hopper. The vacuum feeder forms an airflow under vacuum, and under the action of this airflow, the conveyed material is transported to the vacuum hopper through the hose. After a certain period of time (the feeding time is adjustable), the compressed air is turned off, the pneumatic vacuum pump cannot generate a vacuum, and the discharge door of the hopper is opened by the cylinder, the vacuum of the vacuum feeder disappears, and the material is automatically placed into the receiving equipment (such as a tablet press, packaging machine, etc.) through the discharge door. At the same time, the compressed air stored in the air bag back-blows the filter, and the filter is automatically cleaned. After a certain period of time (the discharge time is adjustable), the compressed air is restarted, the pneumatic vacuum pump generates a vacuum, the discharge door is closed, and the vacuum feeder is fed again. This cycle repeats, and the material is continuously fed into the receiving equipment.

For vacuum feeders with material level control, the material in the hopper of the receiving device is automatically fed through the material level controller. When the hopper of the receiving device is above a certain level, the vacuum feeder stops feeding; when the material level is below a certain level, the vacuum feeder automatically starts and completes feeding the receiving device.
